Sportradar’s AI data simulation has predicted that England will emerge victorious from this summer’s UEFA EURO 2024 tournament.
The experiment was conducted using a total of 10,000 comprehensive simulations for each of the 51 matches of the competition, all the way up to the final game taking place on 14 July.
According to the results’ outcome, England was pronounced as the winner in 2,400 instances, ahead of France and Germany, bringing a 24% probability for The Three Lions of Gareth Southgate to lift up the cup.
The AI-powered algorithm was fed “tens of thousands” of data points taken from leveraged betting insights shared by Sportradar’s global network of 900 sportsbook operators.
Besides England winning the Euros, the simulations also suggested that Real Madrid’s latest signing, Frenchman Kylian Mbappé, is the player most likely to win the Golden Boot this summer – with him being the top goal scorer in 1,519 of the instances.
