Maintaining focus on its strategy for Africa,
A South African hotel, betting and casino operator, Sun International is currently targeting an expansion of its SunBet sportsbook holding across the continent, including ‘three well-established territories’.
To support this ambition, the firm will incorporate Sportingtech’s Quantum platform, a localised solution covering 65 sports, 9,000 games and 1,00 betting markets.
“This collaboration will benefit us massively as we continue to expand,” remarked Simon Gregory, SunBet General Manager.
“Bringing both in-depth expertise and high-quality product offering, Sportingtech is the ideal partner for us in this venture, and look forward to growing these African markets together.”
Additionally, SunBet will also leverage Sportingtech’s content management tools to develop a front end ‘optimised to the demands of local players’.

The firm, which will use the 888 branding, aims to become a ‘market leading’ operator across the continent, also utilising the Quantum platform for sportsbook activity.
